re: fishing with soda bottles, anyone try this before?

My family has had many boston whalers over the years. Dad sold his last one a 25' 1989 model outrage when he built his house in 2003. Not the smoothest riding boats but they hold value and can take a beating. My grandfather had a 1994 model 27' offshore with twin 250's that thing was a beast.
