Greetings gents,
My buddies and our dads fly out to Yellowstone area every other year for a summer fishing trip. We are looking to mix things up a little bit and wondered if anyone had suggestions on locations. We would like to be out west or in Canada. We don't really have a preferences on where to stay. It can be a lodge, hotels, whatever, but the old guys prefer not to camp. Thanks for any insight.

It doesn't matter. We spin and fly. Just looking for some good experiences and decent fishing of any type.

My dad and I typically go fly fishing in Montana each year, but last year we gave the Green River in Utah a shot. This was a fantastic location to go fly fishing and the fishing was actually better than anything I have seen in Montana. Granted we timed it perfectly (cicada season), but it was a great overall experience. Only downside was that the town is ungodly small even by Montana standards (think population <100).
Depending on where you put in or take out, you could be in one of Utah, Colorado, or Wyoming. I would check out the guide service at spinner fall.com.
