I'm gonna try to hit the causeway this weekend. Should I troll or just throw some jigs?

I went Saturday where there was supposed to be no tide.
Strong East wind made the water move and the fish were biting.
Can't predict tides at all in Lake P. anyways .
shite is always opposite of what they say it's going to be anyway.

Here's one from last Saturday.

Ive been pondering something....

So i go to school at UNO so im by the lakefront a lot. When its windy, like today, that water moves a bunch. Would you think you would catch any specs fishing from the shore at the inlet to one of those canals when the water is moving like this? If no, is it because the water is not as salty there?

On a side note, yall ever catch reds in the lake?

there's a lot of variables to consider when and where the fish are going to be.
The shorelines of the lake on the south are usually not very productive except for canals and structure.
Seabrook is a good place sometimes,it just depends on if the bite is on or not.
