Fishing request from my Lake Borgne Baws

Ok Baws....
Last two days have been limiting, and not the good kind of limit, between the wind and parking lot of boats it's been less than average. Anybody hitting any trout in Lake Borgne? All we've been able to get is a few reds and flounder in the pass because of the wind.
Can anybody shed any light on where the trout are? What looks good for tomorrow?

All the cuts out of chef pass working towards alligator point gave me two boxes of fat trout last week. Really easy trip both times. Not sure how this weak front will have them acting.

I hit those when it's too rough in Lake B. but usually catch more redfish and flounder than trout.
I'm thinking about going to the rig off the point, but like you said the front and wind may have them squirrelly.

Ordinarily I would agree, but for whatever reason the trout happened to be turned on in those spots, damnest thing. For what it's worth if you find a ledge fish it, first time in a long time I've caught the majority of a limit on the tandem sparkle beetle setup. Got the rest with the trusty live shrimp on sliding corks.

Thanks for the tip. I have a ton a live shrimp and I'm thinking about hitting the cuts on my way to the rig at the point. Going to hit the out going tide, temps way to cold in the early morning.
