I am curious at how all of this freshwater will impact the fishing. Thinking about going down this weekend as well

weather looks great will try the old jetties with shrimp

Probably pretty fresh in west cove. Maybe in Joe's and drift

Jetties are your best bet if the water doesn't salt up further north.

West Cover has been nice. Water has been nice a green with good visibility. The trout are there and good size. I would stop by West Cove before heading to the jetties. Throw your favorite top water around the reefs on the south side for big trout. Unless the wind is out of the north and dirties up the south side

Caught some nice trout along the ship channel rocks last Friday around joes but imagine itll be dirty this weekend with the fresh water coming down.

Joes cove. West side, little cove a few miles north up the ship channel from west cove

There are reefs directly across from 2nd entrance, would be a good place to drift. We have a camp on joes cove so on the way back we almost always fish there, good luck!
