Family Canoe/Kayak Recs

I've been a solo kayaker for about 5 years now. Well, solo + my dog. Fishing & camping.
My wife has been expressing interest in going out with us starting this summer & bringing our 3 kids along, now that they're all potty trained & can all swim.
I typically navigate the bayous around here for leisure. I started by fishing all over both Florida coasts in the beautiful waters before moving back to LA. So I really don't have any experience with multiple passenger options.
I imagine we'd start out all together doing the same bayous then start taking full weekend trips to clearer waters once we figure the kids are in to it.
My recommendation question/help request is:
What canoes or kayaks (if any) could handle the 5 of us +/- the medium sized (65 lbs) dog? My kids will be almost 8, 3.5, & 2.5 this summer.
I figure if we're going to camp out as well, we'd need a tow raft for our gear. Right?

I have the 14.5 Native Ultimate tandem and it's good for me, the wife, and 3 little kids, but definitely not much extra room.
As they get older, you won't be able to fit all of you in any kayak I know of. If y'all are serious about it the wife probably needs to command her own yak.
If you're in the Lafayette area, check with Pack and Paddle as I'm sure they can bring one like mine out to their demo day.
Also congrats on the 2 year old potty trained swimmer.

Thx for the feedback.
Pack & Paddle will be a stop we make in the coming weeks.
btw, it's easy to potty train & teach kids to swim when you're out of work. thanks LA economy...

You're welcome to use mine if you want to try it out, assuming you're not a shady character. I'm in Crowley, let me know if you want to borrow it.

I would love to give it a try. Maybe let me try yours & you can use my Jackson Coosa. A Sunday ride down the Teche?

Yeah Van, it's me.
A single rig is the plan, at the moment.

Get two canoes, the 8 year old and the wife should be able to handle their own and you will have plenty of room for camping gear.
I like Mohawk or Old Town.
