Some F150 4x4s have it , some don't. Do any of you guys that have it use it? What situations?

My Chevy Z-71 has a automatic locking differential. No buttons to push or pull. I like it alot. Helps out at boat ramps and snow. But I've owned Chevy's for 20 yrs and I'm going against the grain this time and getting a F150.
I need some advice on this.

Get it. It is frackin NICE

Much better than an automatic electronic locker IMO. When you turn the switch on, that bastard is locked up absolutely no doubt. You have control over it, unlike auto lockers.
