I think Plasti Dip comes in either a spray can or a regular paint can. I believe it's more of a paint than a dip.

I've looked into it a good bit and spoken with some people I trust who are excellent at it - the bottom line is that it takes a while to perfect it and have it come out the way you want. If you have time and money to play around with, great, otherwise you'll probably be frustrated/disappointed if you think you're gonna be a pro from the get-go. After seeing how much of an art it is, I decided to leave it to the professionals. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to make sure your prep work is immaculate. Oil residue on the object being dipped leads to poor adhesion.

Would love to see how your pieces turn out so be sure to share once you get it in. Good luck, and if you're good at it you'll have a side business in no time.

I built my own set up a few years back. Sold it to someone because I didn't have time to fool with it but there is an art to it. Also, if you can't spray clear worth a crap, a lot of it will look like shite.

I could probably never trust myself to do that to something that I would actually want to look good.
