Electronics question....

I'm looking to get new electronics on my bass boat. Currently have some 2012 hummingbird 5" dis on there.
I want to stay with in dash models bc I fish a lot of areas with current and tight places. I'm looking at hummingbird bc my buddy is on pro staff and I get them at cost. Largest I can get in dash is 7" in console and 5" at the bow. My question is can I network the 7" with the 5" at the bow or is the 7" the smallest one with network compatibility? Tia

Should be able to run a network cable with no issues. I have the 788 networked to my 999

I just called Hummingbird and cant network anything less than the 7s
