Duck Decoys

My set of decoys got crushed in Ida, so I'm starting all over again. Any ideas where I can find deals on decoys besides Marketplace?
Edit: Costal ducks mainly, but the occasional Wood Duck/Basin species.

go to Academy or Cabela's in a couple of weeks, they'll be on sale.
Craigslist will have people selling stuff off in February as well.

Not my pic, but I've killed tons of ducks with black coke bottles.

I’m about to dump my teal and woodies and buy buffleheads, that black and white really pops at a distance.

I have never bought from these guys, but have looked at them a few times. Looks like they sell a dozen for the price of 6. Maybe someone else has used decoycentral in the past. You could buy a dozen teal, and maybe ask for a dozen hen mallards. That is two dozen under $100

You mean 12 for the price of what 12 should cost. Decoys have gotten outrageous… But $40/dz is what I use as my standard for what I’m usually willing to spend on decoys.

It’s mallards but a good deal for what you get. They are small though, slightly bigger than teal decoys.

Where else do you find decoys that are $40 per dozen.

Rogers has some pretty good deals and a bad arse store for a waterfowler

Me and a buddy shot two limits of mallards over maybe 50 ancient faded decoys (some spray painted white) and about 30 black jugs.
I just get the cheap ones at academy or bass pro. The higdon butt pulsator is awesome. However, the higdon swimmer I got has never worked, thanks for reminding me, I need to call them about that.

Whoa! We used to use those back in the 80's as HS and college kids with no money. Yeh, we killed our share but I didn't think people still used them.

Catahoula lake is full of em.

Just checked academy's website and they have all their flex ones 33% off. And the rigging is only $12

Yeah idk about coastal but tx rigs are the way to go unless you are leaving them out like at Catahoula. Even then I guess it would make pickup easier.

Divebomb floaters or lifetime, boss.

Lake Dauterive is covered with them.
They also have a lot better movement than real decoys with the slightest of wind. We used to leave ours out all season and just mix in a few real decoys around the outside when we would get there in the mornings.
