Yea, your daughters dog didn't do any field trial at 4 months old. Not even hunt testing at 4 months. Maybe some confusion there.

Yes she did. He is listed. She had to go to 5 events all over the state for trials.

Good Lord folks, this video was just a fun little clip, not a training how to documentary.

The young dog in the video is quite advanced. The setup was nothing more than a fun mark for him.

His registered name is Bayou Magic's Tough as a Boot. He is a grandson of my dog (FC AFC Wing Magic's Louisiana Roux MH) that sired the all time high point derby dog that holds several field trial records, Upon The Wings Of An Answered Prayer "Ammo".

My name is Frank Price. Kennel is Bayou Magic Retrievers currently in OK but planning to return to Louisiana soon.

Sounds like HRC Started Hunt Test - not field trials. Congrats just the same.

Nice work and that's a very nice tech pond.

As for delivering to the bird boy he is delivering to the handler. This is one great way to train when by yourself sit the dog make watch the mark without moving with no on there on remote and deliver to handler the bird boy. Excellent work.

Nice training pond. One of the best trainers in the world Dennis voight uses this type of training as he is from remote country and has no help. This is obviously a very nice dog and has a very solid foundation. Good luck in the future and congrats on the early accomplishments. I know of your dogs and you have had and produced some fine brown dogs.
