Advil can kill a dog! Tylenol, too. Benadryl is ok.

He got hit in the face by a bat. Had oral surgery and had to wear the muzzle for 8 weeks.

no clue. likely a neighborhood thug, someone who doesnt like my husband or his family, or someone trying to steal him
my husband found him laying on the carport one morning with his jaw shattered. No trail of blood anywheres.
We checked his leash in the backyard, and it wasnt broken or anything. Took him to the vet and they did xrays and examined him. Waited for ortho to come and check him out. They said it looked like he was hit in the face with something hard.
His mandible was broken in 2 places, tmj joints both fractured... He did not have a scratch or cut, or swollen anything. They did xrays and he did not have any internal injuries either....When they did the surgery on his jaw, they saw that part of it was shattered in one spot, likely from the point of impact where he was hit.

no, actually I live in a very nice neighborhood. Unfortunately my husband arrests thugs often, and weve had trouble with them coming into our yard or fricking with us.
