I wanna shoot one before I take the plunge. I love my g19, but I would prefer a larger bullet moving faster.

I can offer a day at our range and a pint of the clear stuff for your trouble.

I can't imagine a gun that small with a bullet that big being very much fun to shoot for an extended period of time.

I've shot the 30, and it's quite comfy.

I wanna launch some lead at 1300fps or so to see how much torque I get.

If it's comfortable, it will be my new truck piece. The accuracy and speed with the 19 will be tough to beat, but I'm willing to sacrifice a little for the takedown power.

That 10mm is exactly what I've been looking for in a semi auto... Provided the recoil isn't like a .357 in a snubby.

It shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as a .357 belly gun. The slide will soak up some recoil and autos are usually easier to hang on to than small revolvers. It probably won't be bad at all with standard loads.

Get it.

It's a fine pistol.

Ammo is expensive, though.

I dabbled with one for a bit a few years ago. Recoil wasn't bad, I felt the 27 was snappier. Sold it to consolidate calibers. Solid gun.

If I wanted to shoot .40 and wear a dress... I would

I'm tempted to trade my 19 for one... But with the wife leaving school fairly late, it would make a fine gun for her car.
