Do you tell anglers anything if you see them keeping undersized fish?

I saw a group of guys keep about ten redfish no larger than 10 inches, I didn't say anything but I sure as hell wanted to.

You don't really have to be all that close to someone to see the redfish they are catching and keeping are not 16 inches.

Just asking, man. No need to get defensive. I don't think I've ever been close enough to another boat for long enough to make that determination.

I usually make some smartass comment like "you must have a short arse ruler"

I never do anything about it though. It pisses me off to see it happen, but I don't care enough to do anything.

You're a lucky guy if you've never had another angler crowd you.

Seems like you should be doing something more important than posting on this thread then.

frick that. I tell them that's illegal and to throw them back. If they don't, I just walk away and call green jeans. Then its in their hands on if they want to handle it.

Just messing around. But, the 16" ers are the best eating.
I don't see why anyone would want to eat bull reds.

If you could tell the difference on a 10" fish, you were too close.

Maybe they were too close, why is there a croaker under the red?

Some people keep the bull croakers to eat.
