I posted a picture of the big buck with the drop tines I shot 2 years ago, but I think that's the only kill I've posted to Facebook/Instagram. I can't count the number of snapchat kills I have sent out though.
I post way more of everything on snap because I'm way more selective about who I'm friends with.

This is why the Internet is awesome. We have someone saying they just "gave away a rack and don't know where it is" on a 170 class deer Nobody just gives this away

I have a coworker that shot a 160" deer and was more excited about the 200# hog
He's not a hunter though and was just there for customers
He was telling me hog story and when I asked him if he killed a deer his quote was "Shot one of those too, they said it was 160"...don't know what that means but they looked excited"

I know where it is, it's at my cousin's place somewhere. I'm sorry some of y'all don't get the fact that I don't care. It was just another deer in the freezer. The only trophies I have ever kept are my first duck and my first buck, I truly don't care if it's a trophy or not, it's food.

I never post my kills on social media for two reasons:
1. I don't want people to know that much detail about my life. They don't need to know what I chose to kill one morning. That's for me. Not for them.
2. You can't count on rationality to prevail on social media. There's always some nitwit out there who is going to complicate your life with a remark, the wrong kind of share, or counter-post.
3. The less people know about the land I own, the better.

We should switch spots...I could put you on some does, no problem.

I don't post dead shite anywhere but here and another duck hunting/fishing site. Now when I send my wife a text with a pic of me and my son with dead shite, she usually posts it on her FB. Nothing negative has been said that I know of.

sometimes. Mostly here, Group ME (which is very selective) and some to Facebook.
I have two cork boards at my office where I have dozens of pictures of mine and my families hunting and fishing trophies.
As far as negative feedback: I have received very little but frankly I don't care. I think bending to another persons overinflated feelings of being offended is detrimental to your own cause and feelings.
I think it is foolish to

My fish are usually alive when I take pictures of them.
