Deliberately implies thinking and effort. Do they deliberately leave razor blades on my driver seat? Or scratch the steering wheel? Or not hold the cigarette out the window during a joyride? Or forget to put the rear headrest?

No, dealerships just employee morons.

Some, alright most, of the techs are stupid and can break or miss things. Gotta remember they are young guys with almost no training. The guys inside will also try and bend you over half of the time. You'd be surprised the amount of charges you can accrue for a loose gas cap.

I'm sure there are a few around the world who break shite on purpose, but as a whole, they don't.

Create bigger jobs for themselves? No. However, they will "accidentally back into" a near irreplaceable 964 and create a mountain for work for the body shop.

This was the first and last time I used a dealership for anything other than warranty items. Idni shops only from here on out.

Simple rule:
1) if it's warranty work, go to the dealer.
2) if not, don't ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, go to the dealer.

No. They are more likely to upsell you on maintenance. Also, there are alot of incompetent mechanics out there when it comes to the technology in new vehicles.
