I've always wanted to dive the flower gardens but they dont even allow you to have a speargun in the boat if you go. I'm not taking a sight seeing trip that takes that long to get there and not be able to shoot on the way to and from the gardens

I think anyone can dive it if you can get there, but you can't touch anything

I'd have no problem with that, its just a good trip from LA

You just have to know where they're at.

Looking at the Hell Diver site and just wondering. Why did these idiots shoot Tarpon? They are no where near a record! I've been spearfishing since 85', so Im not against the sport.

See 'em all the time in Mexico. Saw one during a night dive, his tail itself was about 3/4 the length of my arm. HUGE.

There's a place in Cozumel called the Lobster House where you go in and wait for the hunters to show up with their catch... Then you just select the one you want off of a tray and they make it for you on the spot.

Science.

There is a guy at UNO doing a study on tarpon and needs some juvinile tarpon (winter)

It could potentially stop the removal of oil platforms in the gulf.

Good enough answer for you?
