Why would anyone take 30 mins to hang 100 12" trout out in the sun just to take a pic. I realize there will be detractors to this opinion but those of us that catch trout frequently know they need to be kept iced for maximum taste value. Glad you had a nice outing.....

If you read the thread it is because his friend's uncle is a guide and wanted to post the picture. I know--it doesn;t make sense to me either.

Fish were off of ice for less than 10 minutes.
And it's 200 trout
And only a handful were below 15" with the majority being ~16-18" and we had 10 over 20".

One time I thought it would be cool to put 75 on a stringer hanging from a pile at the camp. It looked cool, but never again.
