ive ran wildgame innovations with no issues

Some years ago I bought an entry level Wildgame Innovations camera for my son. Ran fine for 2 years then went belly. I sent 7-8 emails to them asking for help, but they never responded. I then called them and let it ring for 15 min during usual business hours (I was driving to a deer hunt and got so mad I just let it ring until I pulled up to the woods). Never could get the camera to work after that. I know every one who makes electronics will have a bad product every now and then. All I ask is that the maker SUPPORT their product. Maybe WI is better now, or maybe not. I'm glad you're happy w/ your WI, but as far as I'm concerned, I'll not buy anymore WI cameras until I know they adequately support their products.

If we can get 2-3 years out of a gamecam I consider it a good investment.

I've got a moultrie m80 that takes night pictures only when it wants to. Several poultries like that.

Battery life is horrible as well.

I use Wildgame Innovations cameras. Nothing but good things to say about them. Favorite is the LO8, got a full year out of a set of batteries and it has the on camera screen + easy setup

Great. I wasn't planning on doing much today at work, but now I won't get anything done.

Get an IR, and screw all this pixel crap. You don't need 9mp, all you really need is about 3mp. The wildlife's have worked great for me and when someone steals them I am only out about 70 bucks. (# so far) You are not going to be printing these and most will be at night so I would get the best IR you can find on sale. LINK

I got a few of the browning range ops XR from Amazon before the season and have been pleased with them so far. 90 bucks on amazon....120 at academy. This link was helpful in picking out a quality camera. One thing I found was that most sites consistently bashed wildgame cameras for their lack of durability and reliability.

I currently have 3 Primos truth cams(one 35LED, one 46LED, and one ULTRA 35), one Moultree (can't remember what model, but it's an IR from about 4 yrs ago) and one Wildgame Innovations (somethinganother Blade 6X). Out of the 5, I'd say the picture quality and overall function is

1. ULTRA 35
2. WGI 6X
3. Truth 46LED
4. Tie between Truth 35 and the Moultree

I know folks who have the cuddebacks and other more expensive ones who say they are much better. I believe it. I just don't utilize mine in a manner that would facilitate the need for a $300 camera. For how I use them, I'm better off with 3 $100 cameras. I know mine probably miss some deer, but I can easily Identify deer with mine. I'll post some pictures from each for comparison if I get a second later.
