Concealed carry weapon

Any recommendations for pistol and holster for concealed carry weapon?

Go to a store and hold some, buy one that you like.
I carry a glock 19, but I shot a Springfield XDS 9mm 4 in. barrel the other day and am considering getting one.
As far as holsters.
For IWB, I have a milt sparks leather holster. I do not really like the leather/kydex combo holsters.

everyone is going to suggest what they carry lol. Like said, go hold them.. do research and decide.

Definitely hold them. My mind was made up when I went to buy...until I held that particular gun in my hand. Shield fitt me perfectly, and being a single stack, is easy to conceal on a smaller guy like me.

This is quite a broad question.
I would get a single stack 9mm. You're more likely to have it on you rather than leave it at home when you really need it. Some examples:
S&W M&P Shield
Springfield XDs
Glock 43
Walther PPS
Kahr CM9
Sig 938
... just to name a few.
If you don't think you can carry inside your waistband given your current daily attire, I would go with a pocket-carried 380, in a holster that protects the trigger of course. Some more examples:
Kahr CW380
Sig P238
Glock 42
Ruger LCP
Best of luck. The amount of options can get pretty overwhelming so go with your gut when you find the right one.
