Looking for a little help from the ODB.
Headed down to Cocodrie this weekend for the weekend. Will have the wives and little ones with us.
I haven't fished the area in years, can anyone offer a little help to possibly catch a few fish. We will have access to a smaller aluminum haul.
Any good bank fishing? Canals?
We'll be staying close to the marina on Crab St.
Thanks guys.

I would head strait out to bay St Elaine and look for birds diving. Trout under them. If that doesn't work. I always like to park in the ship channel by the rocks about 20 ft away(6' of water) , on the currents edge, drop straight down with shrimp. You can fill the boat with sheep head. And sometimes reds..

Thanks man. If all else fails I'd imagine if we simply let the kids throw a shrimp or cut crab on the bottom in the main canal off the wharf they should kind a few hook ups.
