Chocolate Lab help

Moving at the end of the month to a place that has a good bit of acreage and a pond. Ive been wanting to get a chocolate lab for a long time. Where are some places or breeders to look. I would prefer to adopt a young pup but I'm not wanting a mut. Any suggestions? TIA

no clue how to help you... but labs are excellent!!! Check craigslist, got both of mine off there for free and have been amazing pets/companions.

Not really familiar with that many besides this oneand a guy I know in DQ.

Yea I've been watching craigslist most of them are shelter dogs and they can't give me much info on them. I guess I just need to go and see them in person and get a feel for the dog.

i searched craigslist alot and there were always several fool blooded no paper dogs free or like $50 rehoming fee. I looked at the pups, made sure web feet. Checked out one or both parents and been lucky i guess.

Try petfinder.com - you can search for pets you can adopt near you. you can set your filter to show labs and young dogs.

Thanks guys I will look into these. I check bayou I don't know when they are going to have the next litter. They seem to have lots of requests so it's more of a get in line and wait.

Chocolates are dumb. I didn't even have to teach my black lab how to swim. Plus, I can ask people if I can bring my black friend before I come over
