Man I bought one of there rods, I think is was the Green. Brought it home, went fishin, the first time I set the hook it snapped about a foot from the tip. Brought it back and exchanged it, then went fishin with it. About the fourth time I set the hook I snapped that one. Took it back and got another Duckett.

Mine was closer. Close enough to repair and just use as a slightly shorter rod.

I hate sending shite back. It happened on a 3 day trip to Toledo. I simply chose to repair to keep on using. It was just one of the $100 models. It's probably a better rod now anyway

I don't usually measure them either, but this one was sooooo much bigger compared to the other really nice keepers we caught that day.

I really don't know. We caught about 7 this even about 3 feet down in 8 feet.
