I have caught bass and bluegill on creek side grass blades.

and salt water fish on sections of McDonalds straw.

I have caught white bass on a cigarette butt.

They were schooling hard as hell so they were basically biting bare hooks.

At Indian Creek once, my buddywas catching bass on a small purple worm, only thing I had that color was an Ol Monster Candy Bug worm.
I hadn't had a bite in 3 hours.

Took out my scissor and cut it into a 3" grub with a pointed tail.
The next 30 minutes I caught 7 keepers.
All my buddy could say was, how the frick you did that.
True story.

You can actually buy pre-made McDonalds straw rigs in case you are incapable of making one yourself.
