Caribe Resort and Cotton Bayou Fishing Tips

Leaving in the morning to stay at the Caribe Resort in Orange Beach. I normally fish the rocks at the Perdido Pass but I have never fished the Piers in Cotton Bayou. Has anyone had any luck? If so what baits are good to use. Also plan on renting a Kayak for a day. Also I usually go in the summer is the fishing any different in the spring? TIA

Live shrimp free lined or under corks are all we ever use. You can usually get them right next door. We have had so much rain last few weeks it may be freshwater (LOL)
