Caney Lake, Do I need a boat.

I'm debating if I should tow my boat 4 hours to Caney lake, or if I can catch a few perch off the pier at the state park.

Take your boat. You'll catch a few bream at the state park. You can really get on the shellcrackers around the lake if you're mobile.
