I have more than what it takes to kill a possession limit of all game; therefore, I have too much.

I have what my budget and income will allow for this month.

New month in just a few days though

My goal is 2k rd per caliber

Excluding 223, no limit on that.

I keep at bare minimum at least 1k rounds per caliber stored. I have waaaaaay more than that now.

No, you can never have enough. I see you see now, it only appreciates in value.

The only ammo one needs is enough to get his neighbors ammo.

On the other hand, you need enough to fight off the guy that thinks you have what he wants.

I can tell by your posts that you're not exactly the hoarding type. But 5 boxes? Do you own pretty much only centerfire hunting rifles? If so, I completely understand why you think 5 boxes is enough...they may last quite a while if you're just hunting deer. But last time we went to the range my brother and I went through about 700 rounds of pistol, rifle (mostly rimfire) and shotgun ammo.

I think I have enough to fend off the neighbors.

I usually have around 1k of each caliber of my own handloaded ammo. But that's for target use and fun.

On any regular non-freak-out political time, I would frequent the range and replenish as necessary. But lately, I have made precisely 0 range visits and don't know when I will go back.

I have not enough. Once I have a steady job to support myself, I'll probably go with the 1k per caliber philosophy

I'm still going to the range, but I'm never shooting more than 100 rounds per trip, which is really low for me.

I usually go 2-3 times a month, but I haven't gone since before Christmas. I'll probably go this weekend, but am only taking 100 rounds with me.

I have more than I need but still looking for deals on more. I've never overpaid for it.. Most of it has been acquired at a light steady pace since 2008 when our esteemed leader was voted in.
