I think our next billfish trip is going to be Cabo in September 2018. I understand that's hurricane season, trip insurance will be purchased.

Anyone have any recommendations on charters to use? We are going to do two days offshore for marlin/sails and 1 day inshore for rooster.

Thanks for the help

I wonder if those prices are for the entire boat or per person?

redrum's fleet looks legit. I like the looks of "oh so rojo"

going to shoot him an email and see what kind of pricing I can get for 3 days

Ryan and Luis are pretty cool. They drank beer with us and hung out while we were watching the weigh in.

I went last year at the end of February. It was awful fishing. We went with red rum, trolled literally for two days, and I finally told them I wanted to go closer to shore and let's just bottom fish for something. Anything. Well we came across a pile of very small YFT like 10 lbs. caught enough for civichi and grill back at the pad, but I promptly booked a Venice trip as soon as I got back.
That time of year is not good I hear, and I would go when you have opportunity to catch a marlin. (No idea when that is either call and ask them or google). Overall it was a unique experience but for my both my trips out there to fish, I think for fishing , you'd be incorrect to think It's better than what we have off our coast

We also fished with Redrum. It was a bachelor party. We had a great time.
