does anybody know if this was a loaded gun brought into the store by a customer, or if it was a gun that was for sale at Cabelas that somehow got loaded at the counter?

Lucky it only went through his hand. Christ, how does a live round make it to the counter, and how the frick does the guy not check every single gun every single time.
