Buy New or Used 4-wheeler?

So I am looking at the Honda Rancher 420. Cash Price out the door at local dealership is $6,200. I can buy a used one with low miles for around $5,000 that is in excellent shape with front and back racks.
Anyone have advice for buying new vs used. How does the warranty work on buying used?

I bought a used Foreman 6 years ago that was 7 years old at the time.
It still runs like a top and has been in the shop 1 time due to air filter breaking down and pieces getting sucked into the carb.
I'd buy a used Honda in a heartbeat.

Only buy used if it was well taken care of. I bought 2016 honda 420 4wd for 5500 out the door at Brookhaven honda back in December.

This. Call Brookhaven and see what they want for a new one. You may find it's just a few hundred dollars more.
