What is the story behind the Busbice family and their rise to fame, fortune? Surely some of you baws know them personally or have had dealings with them.

You see the picture of this deer?

I took it with one of their game cameras.

Ha...it does seem their products lack quality. Does the lack match their character, or are they good folks?

I can't answer to that because I don't know. I do know that with a small amount of quickcrete you can convert their game cameras into a very serviceable trot line weight. And despite how flimsy their feeders seem they can actually break a toe if you kick one hard enough with a non steel toe.

Other than the fact that their products suck and they are assclowns on tv, I don't know much about them.

I know nothing about the guys, but the fact that one of them keeps showing up to the OB and taking some abuse says he has pretty thick skin.

Made a shite ton of money in whatever business they were in, bought a bunch of land, fenced it off, and shoot the semi-tame deer. I can tell you they don't have a lot of fans among their neighbors.

Interesting article here LINK

You can pretty easily get an idea of who probably spends time, and little else, hunting there by who will and who won't make an effort to help the guy in the article.

State Senators-free hunts
Old State Representative-free hunts
New State Representative-no free hunt (yet)
Police jury-free hunts

quote:

Six C land is part of the Deer Management Assistance Program a statewide system

Does this mean the place that charges people to shoot fenced-in deer is subsidized by the state? No wonder we can't balance the budget.

quote:

"It's a shame, it's a shame that this can go on in our state," said Gough.

He's right, but no one is surprised with the level of corruption.

I don't understand the hate Joe buck gets on here. They hunt 55,000 acres of "fenced in land".

Know Joe buck and his family. Real nice Down to earth people.

Plus he's a great troll who knows how to get under yall's skin
