Don't know or care, it keeps me nice & dry
It's an OBer who builds them stands & let me tell you they are sweet. I've got 2 on my place but wouldn't want to ever have to move them

My only worry would be the deer I didn't see on those rough mornings cause I'd probably crank the heater and lay out across the floor and sleep til noon

Got a nice office chair in them that may have saved some deer lives for sure
Can't run the heater too long if the windows are closed cause they are well insulated

My buddy Keystone870 is one of the builders.

Very nice stands, they make them on the ground with skids and everything.

ETA: About $3k

Nascar cant hide that money

I really like the idea of these. Being able to move it and 360° shooting.

Me too, I have some heavy galvanized scaffolding thats 4x8x10ft high I'm thinking about building it out of treated wood, lots of paint\sealer and shingles on the roof. Does anyone know where to get quiet slide windows to shoot out of?

I hunted in a Ranch King stand at an old place, it was awesome but 7k....

I think I can recreate the comfort for 500 bucks using old building materials I have laying around

Might not last as long but lots less

All I do is get a sheet of plexiglass, cut it to size, and get some window slides from a marine products distributor.

something like this:

Window slides

We make flip up windows with a piano hinge and a rope tied through a hole in the plexiglass and run through a hole in the wall of the stand, loop on end, throw a screw into wall in appropriate position to put loop on to keep it open.
