I won the 7" woody in a fishing tournament. Sharp blade, hasn't really been put to the test yet. Definitely a goofy looking big knife.

Old man has one.

It's badass. Good handle and the blade is shaped well. Very stiff and holds an edge well.

I've got the 9".
Definitely recommend for larger bass, trout, catfish, and most reds.
If you are filleting smaller fish; this isnt the blade for you.

I've used the smaller blade and the fillet, but not enough to give an accurate report.

Overall, seems to be a pretty decent product.

Thanks. My brother is a big fisherman and is always queer about a good filet knife. May get him a few for him unless there is a better one out there?

We have a couple. I only use them on reds, and I still prefer a mister twister on 16-18 inch redfish

Dad got me one for Christmas last year.

It's the 9" tapered flex and I really like it. I am thinking about getting the 7" flex for smaller fish and clean up work.
