I was planning on thinning out the bream population in my ponds on Saturday. Looks like we will have scattered thunderstorms around here all day. This is my only free weekend for a while so I was going to try to fish around the storms. I'm no bream expert (or fishing expert in general). Would it be worth it to try? Or will the storms shut them down like they can do to bass?

Yes.

Not in my experience.

Fish, I say. Get a bunch of bread, break into small pieces and throw into the pond. Once you have a shite load of bream feeding, throw a 10'-12' castnet over them. Win win there. I have to do that a couple times each year due to way to many bream in my pond.
