Been having 4 in my lineup for a few years now. I never clean them. Just a shot of Reel Magic a few times per year. Still fine as ever.

I bought a Mettle for light inshore stuff, because I am bad about not taking care of my reels after Salt Lifing it up. That thing is a still decent little reel for the money and I have treated it poorly.

I'm just here to argue about it.
But yeah, he meant Academy. Back to BPS, the spring fishing classic is going on now... I strolled through and everything marked down only made prices some what competitive with Academy's everyday low prices.

I bought two on Monday. Guy told me they sold over 1200 in three days. They seem good quality for $50 a pop.
