My brother has a bear that has no limbsavers or cat whiskers or any of that shite and it's still very quiet. It shoots damn good as well.

I shoot a diamond that I bought for $400 rigged out (used) and I have no complaints about it.

Look around for a good used bow as well. Plenty of people buy new bows every year or two because they have to have the baddest shite. You can get a top of the line rig for a few hundred dollars less than new.
