Ignore the date on the image. I forgot to set the date after I installed the batteries. The pic was taken on Jan. 1, 2016 in NW Caddo. Sorry... having trouble with uploading.

ETA: good size cat. We were getting a lot of them on camera before the season started. I was hoping to get one mounted but haven't seen one since

I saw 2 opening day of deer season and had one walk directly under me while I was squealing like a wounded rabbit with my mouth. He was 100 yds away and I called him wishing 10 feet. These are the only 2 I have ever seen at our place I've hunted for many years.

While I know they are hard on game animal populations I still enjoy seeing them on the rare occasion. Wouldn't want them running all over the place but still neat to know they're around.

I agree. Everyone asked me why I didn't kill the cat. I tell them "I just wasn't that hungry"

Honestly, I haven't checked but I thought in La you could only kill 1 a year

I've been hunting for 40 years and I've never pulled the trigger on a bobcat. One of the funniest things I ever saw in the woods was a cat trying to "sneak" off of a green field after he knew I'd spotted him. I just enjoy watching them.

Hope you don't enjoy watching turkeys, rabbits, or fawns

This reminds me I need to dress up in a gille suit with some platform boots and a mask to mess with my uncles mind on his sasquatch theories.

I kill every coyote and bobcat I see, period. Don't think there's a limit, I don't care, but, Id rather not be a criminal.
