What did that guy think it was going to do? It was obviously in a crouching attack position. I would've at least been yelling at the thing and flailing my arms about.

Damn. I've heard about guys getting a lap full of bobcat when they're calling for turkeys but this is nuts. Those suckers are all over northern CA. I might just poop myself next time I see one.

Ive always been a little nervous about that when calling a turkey. Not so much from a frontal attack because I do have a gun but if one came up behind me
