I've been working on getting the ole boat in decent shape for the last couple of months. I figured I would share a little of my excitement with y'all.

Cleaned it up and replaced the wooden floor with sheet metal. I used Hurculiner and rolled the front deck, floor, and the top of the rear bench.

Then it was time for the paint. I bought the paint and stencil kit from Redleg Camo.

It's not perfect, but I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out. Just in time for a long weekend from work and hopefully plenty of hunting.

Dude that turned out great. Congrats and good job. It's a great feeling to refinish something and make it 'new' again.

I appreciate the compliments. I had a friend of mine spray it for me, so I'll pass on the pats on the back to him. It's been something that I've wanted to do for a while now, just haven't had the time to get it done.

I've got a blind for it, but I've never used it. We always "hid" the boat. (Wasn't much hiding it with that light green). The camo and netting is dry rotted need to go ahead and replace it.

Paint job looks like something on the showroom floor. What kind of speed do you get with that 40 on there? Is that trailer new or just painted and refurbed like the boat? Nice job on the details

The stencil kit and paint was under $200. Over the last year I have rewired, replaced NAV lights, new tank, flooring, Light bar,Switch panel, and a little motor work. i probably have $700 or so tied up in it. The boat, motor, and trailer were given to me about 3-4 years ago. At the time it hadn't ran in about 4 years. I put a little over $200 into motor work and it's been going ever since. This year was the year for all the upgrades.

The trailer is not new. my buddy just sprayed some black paint on it so it looks a little better with the fresh paint on the boat. Speed?? I'm a slightly bigger fella , but I've clocked it with my eTrex at 32mph going up the red. I figure with a lighter operator without the full ice chest it might run around 36-38?
