Boat hours

My old man is considering selling his boat and isn't sure how many hours he has on it. It is a 2007 Champion 220 Bay Champ with a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke. Are the hours or mileage metered on the engine anywhere or is that a feature that would have had to been installed.

If the boat has digital gauges then it should show on there. If it has analog then you would need a separate hour meter. On an 07 engine a mechanic should be able to pull them off of the engine computer.
