More chain and anchor rode is better than the anchor.

Suggestions about chain are spot on-also always buy the next larger size for your boat than suggested. So if the boat size range for an 8# anchor includes your boat size, then get a 13# anchor. The box anchor makes sense, but sure looks like a storage nightmare-certainly would fit in my locker that is built for a Danforth style.

The box anchor folds flat so it's very easy to store.

I've got a Fortress that works great. The light weight makes it really nice to use. Have several friends that have box anchors and they love them. Good thing about the box anchor is you don't have to use a chain. Less stuff to scratch the boat when you're pulling it up. For storage they fold them up flat and put them in a duffle bag. Works good.
