We have had flocks of 30+ for several years. And they are assho. Give the mallards all kinds of crap.

Those dudes land on top of my house sometimes. Beautiful bird. Would mount. Great gumbo duck though! I shoot the shite out of them across the road from house in the bayou!

Had 3 on our place in NELA this last weekend. Definitely seeing more of them. Just started seeing them on our place last yr.

I recently had a pair show up at my pond. They’re there every day and now I noticed a third one. They aren’t nearly as skittish as the woodies that frequent the pond.

They have landed near mine but not used them yet. Not sure if the woodies are scaring them off or what.

Had never seen them before this year. Now we have 20-30 in the neighborhood pond. Pretty chill. They won't fly off our dock until the last minute and then will come back as soon as you walk away.

The real question is how do we all come together to get them on the teal hunting list? As noted, they're all over the place....up until big duck season starts and they disappear. Would definitely eat and mount but I'm obviously not going to shoot them during teal season no matter how many are around.
