Born and raised there myself, never seen any bears while I lived there, left in the mid 70's hunted on buckhorn and across the levee

Hunt there. We've had property there since the 1800s though. Neighbors to somerset. Our place is called Buddy's Hunting Club.

just south of the pecan orchard on HWY 65....it crossed 65 from west to east and headed towards the river...

Hunt the McLemore track off 65 in the reserve, real good chance you'll see one.

jw its my first year to hunt tensas bears give anyone problems or they run away and keep their distance. never hunted around bears so im just curious
