There's plenty more that hunt the property, not to mention the property is bordered by numerous hunting clubs. This deer was killed not far from the property line.

Will is a good hunter, lots of hours in the woods and shooting his bow is paying off. Don't discredit his accomplishment with comments like that.

good deal, point is, even though it's awesome land to hunt, to get within bow range of a deer like that is an great accomplishment. Will and I have been friends a long time and I just get tired of hearing those kind of comments. He's paid his dues, and finally getting the rewards. There's lots of guys that hunt that area and they aren't shooting this caliber of deer, some of it is luck, but Will is definitely doing something right.

It'd be easy to dump out a pile of corn and sit out there with a rifle and wait for a deer. Even easier to sit in a barn with some corn, a light and a rifle if you were into that sort of thing.

Not trying to discredit or take anything away from the kills both are great bucks. More less just saying I've come to expect that from deer in that area all the way up to Ashland as well. And Boelte owns the bulk of that acreage.
