Yeah, I've had it happen a time or too, and Mung had a 4+ on for a while at Cleco.

A guide at Fork told me he was spoon fishing a roadbed once and hooked a yella bass. A largemouth hit the yella on the way up. Guy swears it would have been a new record.

One of my favorite ways to catch big bass is with tiny bream hooked real light in their back on a 3/0 hook under a cork.

No kidding. 6lb test? Here we are discussing using fluoro in clear water, and "Mr. Crappie" is using high vis mono

I passed Mr Crappie on my way to work yesterday , he lives near us because I've seen his truck 4 or 5 times at different places.
