So I've tried two kinds of traps, the solar vibrating poles, and poisonous worms. I've only had minimal success with the worms, but those happen to be the most expensive. Every time I water the grass, there is a new trail the following day. I have lots of oak trees and large beds with leaves which is where I assume they come from. They seem to be in two different sections in the back and two different sections in the front.
Any advice?
What have yall had the most luck with?

I have a few of those Victor out of sight mole traps. They work, but my problem is making sure they're in the best spot. The moles in my yard don't seem to use the same tunnel twice.

I've caught 2 in the past month. But I'm still finding fresh tunnels.

Yes, saw a vole while I was cutting grass right after I bought the house and let it go because I didn't know what it was. Have also found 2 dead moles from the worms.

Cats. As soon as the neighbor got a Tom, the moles and chipmunks disappeared within 6 months. He tears them up.

I have 2 outdoor cats. They do a heck of a job with mice, but they've only ever brought 1 mole to the back door. I might have to stop feeding them.

My only approach that has worked.

Spray the hell out of your yard killing the bugs and the moles will leave

Put out the granular insecticide to kill grubs, etc. Get rid of their food source and they will leave. I did this to get rid of armadillo's that we're destroying a yard by digging for worms/grubs. It worked. Got rid of the armadillos.

I previously had good luck with the trap using little flags to mark tunnels and put a trap down when the flag was bumped over signaling a mole had used it. Used the victor out o sight trap.

It's an involved process but worked. Pretty sure the other shite like the worms, etc., doesn't.

Don't they eat earthworms as well? Earthworms that are very good for your soil?

I tried everything on them at my old house. Had two or three coning in from the field behind the house.
Neighbors cat got one in the backyard(saw it happen at night).
Finally said F it and took a pitchfork one morning and started stabbing it along the freshest looking trails I could see. Killed two hamster-sized female moles within an hour and that was that.

Hell it took my dermatologist only about 10 minutes to remove 3 moles, so i would suggest a dermatologist.

As others said, get a cat. We had them bad at my last house and nothing was working. One day a cat showed up and killed one (left it at the back door), so we fed her. She killed several and now she's a pet. Still takes care of along kinds of critters around the house.
