Does she want her CC, or just want general gun safety/handling training?

Are you familiar with guns? Do you own a gun? You cant provide her with general knowledge of the gun?

Make sure she knows the 4 laws of gun safety.
1. All guns are always loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
Any gun safety course will basically be a variation of that.

How to properly load/unload a pisotl, shotgun and rifle
how to load a magazine
the best grip to take when holding a pistol and long gun

This dude is on the right track!
It is very important to familiarize her with the handgun she will be shooting before you go to the range. Once you step out on the range, there will be a lot of flashes and sounds and distractions and it can be very intimidating at first.
Then again, if you're getting her in a class you should just go over the gun safety rules.
DrTyger just about nailed id, and Chalice adding the loading portion is also important. But, personally, I have a different order of these safety rules. All are important, but I feel they should be done in this order.
1. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
2. All guns are always loaded.
3. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
I think keeping your finger off the trigger is THE most IMPORTANT thing... period. Because even if you have bad safety etiquette and have your gun in a bad direction, if your finger is off the trigger, it makes all the others null and void.
Granted, they are all very important rules, I still feel keeping your finger off the trigger is the most important one. Every time new shooters grab a gun and aren't familiar with it, that damn trigger finger always flies right in the trigger guard. It's something that MUST be ingrained.

Haha maybe...
Smith and Wesson tactical with some add-ons. Here it is with a 1940s Remington Rand and a Springfield Operator:
