Precision in Baton Rouge is convenient and the staff are intelligent and helpful. The vast majority of them have military background so while they speak sternly, they know what they're talking about and will be extremely helpful in answering your questions and helping you find the right firearm.

Does anyone know if the shooting range at Bass Pro rents guns?

I don't believe. But their range is 5 bucks cheaper.

And good for you getting your lady into shooting! Too many women live in a fantasy world where bad guys who want to harm them don't exist. It's good that you're training her how to use an equalizer!

I would suggest you start her out on something that won't have too much felt recoil so she isn't scared by it. 9mm would probably be a fine starting point if a 22 isn't available.

Yeah, Precision seemed to be about all I could find with a google search. Thanks, may have to make a trip to BR this weekend.

Yeah, that's why I'm leaning towards the 9mm. Something she can handle. She's fairly athletic, so I think she'll be able to handle it. Plus cheaper ammo and slightly more capacity. Just gotta decide if we like the 19 or the 26 with the pinkie grip extender. Prolly go 19 and if I ever do start CCW on a regular basis, that'd be a good excuse to buy another.
