I'm a rank and file hard laborer... worked my arse off on a double time sunday... It's mine all mine.
Tell me OB, what do I want?
M&P 15/22
Mossberg 500
Whats a better fun gun? A gun to play hobby with, that is cheap to start with...(I will build my ultimate AR in future days when the world isn't as unstable... I hope!)

Just want to play... not looking for another pistol or deer rifle.

Of those, 15/22.

I prefer a 10/22 though.

I could kick myself for not owning a 10/22

I like to build them. Old and worn out receivers are easy to find. Building them from there can be cheap or very expensive.

If you want to try it, post an add on LAsportsman WTB an old 10/22 for under $100. Youll have called within hours.

15-22 is ready to go out the door. 10/22 can be modded quickly.

Either way, funnest gun ever.

When you have ammo.

I bookmarked that. Thanks.
That will be a project for the future!

I am leaning towards the 15/22 for $550 or a wallmarts 500 shotgun right now that I can break out of the crate and shoot a mean bullseye with.

This would be my call. Heck, if they ever come back in stock, $700 could buy 2 of them - or 1 with all the fixings and about 40 rounds of ammo in today's market.

Aint no problem. I have gone into some depth of some of my builds on here but always happy to guide people. I love working on small cheap guns.

I always pick shotguns last. Too expensive to shoot for fun.

You serious Clark?

I may try this. I've been wanting to do another 10/22 ever since seeing Judge Smail's masterpiece. I've got an extra scope laying around just looking for a SO.

Just made a post on the 15/22 thread, about a 15/22 standard for $549 asking if that was a fair price.

Serious as a heart attack. Lots of them out there. The last one I bought, the barrel looked like it was bent 15* and the pits were almost through the sidewall. But the receiver was flawless and is one of my best shooting guns.

On the edge of my chair. Warning, its addicting and gets expensive fast. I enjoy it more than spending money on my ARs.
