Belize Fishing

I am leaving to go to Belize on Thursday and will be staying there for a week. I know we have one charter trip booked, but I was wondering if anyone has done any fishing off the beaches or piers around there. I will be bringing a rod and reel, and I know they also have some where we are staying. If anyone has any advice or tips it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There should be permit, tarpon, bonefish among others in the surf/ bays
